Diabetic Foot Care — Victoria Park

If you have diabetes, small foot issues can become serious quickly when circulation or sensation is reduced. Regular podiatry care helps identify risk early, manage nails and skin safely, and reduce the likelihood of ulcers and infections.

At Victoria Park Podiatry, we provide diabetic foot assessments and ongoing care plans, including support for Medicare CDM and DVA eligible patients.

What we check

  • Circulation — pulses, skin temperature and other indicators.
  • Sensation — screening for reduced protective feeling.
  • Skin and pressure areas — callus, cracks and early breakdown.
  • Nails — thick nails, fungal changes, ingrown edges.
  • Footwear — fit, wear patterns and pressure points.

Ongoing care we commonly provide

  • Safe nail and callus care
  • Footwear advice and pressure reduction strategies
  • Orthotics/insoles when needed to offload high-pressure areas
  • Education on daily checks and early warning signs

When to book urgently
